Umami Spice Girl and new addition Umami Spice Boy are the combinations of a trained chef and an enthusiastic ex-Army Officer who bring fresh flavours and quality produce to the Scottish street food scene.
Their menus are based on their travels, both past and most recently to Mexico and the Caribbean, and Michelle's initial success selling fresh curry kits, made right here in Edinburgh!!
The couple enjoyed their first Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year and can't wait to serve up a storm to all those hungry festival goers again this year. Old classics include their famous Malaysian Rendang and Thai Satay Kebabs and new features are Jerk Chicken and Cubanos (Toasted Cuban sandwiches)!
