World Premiere

Elfie Picket Theatre return to Assembly Roxy following their ART Award-winning piece Ane City with a daring new piece of current political theatre that journeys through Scotland's vast and exciting historical timeline and examines the constant exploitation of the working class.

A comedic blend of songs, sketches and storytelling that ventures from the early days of the Picts; to Robert the Bruce; and all the way to the situation now with Brexit. Join the patrons of The Union & The Crown to find out how we got here and where we're going.

Elfie Picket are an emerging theatre company founded by Taylor Dyson and Calum Kelly. Their work is focused on Scots language and socio-political issues in Scotland using bold and vibrant stories. Their previous work includes Ane City (winner of the 2019 ART Award) which was presented at Assembly Roxy during the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
