Kendal Mountain Festival

19:30, 19 May

Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating exploration of some of the wildest places on earth. The event will centre around a collection of short adventure films - stories of talent, endurance and excitement that will take your breath away! Ride icy waves in sub zero winter, chase tornados, run in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and mountain bike into the wildest reaches of your imagination.

Alongside our incredible collection of films, we’ll be joined by James Glancy, a passionate wildlife conservationist and keen adventure sportsman who has spent his life outdoors in wild and hostile places. James is now taking his passion in to television, filming and presenting. He recently featured on BBC 2's Curious Creatures and as a host on Discovery Channel's show SharkWrecked, during Shark Week 2018.

The evening will be presented by Festival Director Steve Scott and we will screen some of the Festival’s most loved adventure films.

Amazing talks from @bethbigswim and @jackharries at @kendalmountain Tour today in east London. After hearing of Beth's Ocean 7 challenge i'm no longer scared about freezing in my sea swim triathlon at the weekend! #kendalmountaintour #kendaltour18
