DEID KIST DOLLS, 30 - 31 October

You don't know how much you owe to the DollMaker.
She's the only thing standing between Edinburgh and an army of unquiet souls.
One by one she catches them and binds them into dolls.
But tonight it's Halloween, and the dolls have broken loose…

Award-winning Edinburgh-based playwright Jen McGregor returns to the Roxy following Heaven Burns (winner of the A.R.T. Award 2018).

UNBECOMING, 22 - 24 November

A solo performance in song, movement and text. 
Part theatre show, part music gig. 

Unbecoming is an invitation to a private world, a unique and delicate space where pretence slips away.

Presented by acclaimed Glasgow-based laboratory theatre company Company of Wolves.

Flutter, flutter, flutter
A magical world of winter falls overnight
A crisp clean canvas
Smooth, untouched, inviting

Join us as we adventure through winter. Be tickled on the nose by a snowflake as a rumbling cascade of snow swooshes by. Flutter is an interactive, immersive performance for 2-6 year olds that combines puppetry, music and stunning visuals to create a multi-sensory performance for small hands.

From award-winning Edinburgh-based visual theatre company, Tortoise in a Nutshell and Freshly Squeezed Productions.

FARMER MICHAEL & KATHLEEN: TAEPOT TOUR, 2 – 3 November

Enjoy an Irish night out with Farmer Michael & his long-suffering wife Kathleen as they discuss all well-known world topics – from Donald Trump, to Caitlyn Jenner, Leo Varadkar to Lady GaGa, and a couple of their well-known cover songs too.

After only 2 years on the comedy scene, Stevo & Sinéad have gathered a following of over 300,000 people worldwide, and over 20 million views on some of their sketches. The King & Queen of farming satire may offend some but aren’t planning on quitting any time soon!

FFS!!, 2 November

Timberlina, the world's premier eco-warrior bearded drag queen presents FFS!! a hilarious alt-drag, rock n roll eco-show about giving a sh*t.

Based on a true story of escaping the city to embrace a stoic life of subsistence in an attempt to save the world, from eco-woe to fitting in, FFS!! is framed around a collection of original, joyously profane songs for the vexed generation.

SARAH MCQUAID, 25 November

Sarah McQuaid returns to the Roxy following her last successful gig here earlier in the year.

With the release of her new album, the Madrid-born, Chicago-raised, Cornwall-based singer/songwriter has expanded her battery of instruments to include piano, electric guitar and drum, and it’s drawn critical raves internationally: Dutch music magazine Heaven hailed it as “an early contender for folk album of 2018,” the UK’s fRoots said it was “a collection to savour” and the USA’s PopMatters called it “a gateway into a true innovator’s soul.”

THE RHYTHM AND BOOZE PROJECT SCOTLAND LAUNCH, 26 October

The boys from the Rhythm and Booze Project will make their official Scotland debut on 26 October. Felipe and Paul are ready to bring you a night full of whisky, music, and mischief.

The Rhythm and Booze Project features Felipe and Paul, a duo fusing live music and whisky through gigs, tasting events, and multimedia experiences.
